Forest House 3D is an independent maker shop designing and printing functional products that solve real problems — the kind of parts you couldn't easily find at a hardware store or big-box retailer.

Every product starts with a real-world need: a door that won't stay shimmed, a Sprinter interior that deserves cleaner trim, a lightswitch that could double as a shelf. We design for practicality first — but we also make articulated animals and fidget toys, because not everything needs a reason beyond being satisfying to hold.

Available on Amazon and Etsy. Custom print requests welcome.

01
Proven, Real-World Demand

Every product in the catalog started as a real problem someone needed to solve — or something genuinely satisfying to own. No filler, no catalog padding.

02
Practical Use & Gift Appeal

Some products fix a problem fast. Others scratch the "that's clever" itch. Both work when the design is thoughtful and the value is obvious within seconds of picking it up.

03
Printed & Packed In-House

This isn't a dropship storefront. Products are designed, printed on professional FDM equipment, quality-checked, and shipped with real attention to fit and finish.

Three Steps
to the
Right Product.

This site is a starting point — a clean way to understand what we make before you head to the storefront that fits best.

1

See What's Available

Browse by product category to understand the range — from practical home hardware to articulated collectibles — instead of cold-searching a marketplace.

2

Choose the Right Storefront

Amazon is typically best for practical, fast-shipping purchases. Etsy is a better fit for giftable items, collectibles, and custom requests where direct messaging helps.

3

Buy Where the Experience Is Strongest

Both storefronts carry the full catalog with reviews, buyer protection, and fast checkout. We just make the path there a little clearer.

Bring your own file — STL, 3MF, STEP, or OBJ all work

Design from scratch — describe the part and we'll discuss feasibility

Material options — PLA, PETG, and more depending on application
